Our Recommendation

Choose a villa if:

  • Budget is at least €1.2M (below that, Benahavis/Estepona offer the best villa options)
  • You can commit to proper management or you live nearby

Choose an apartment if:

  • You will use the property fewer than 8 weeks per year
  • Running costs relative to purchase price matter to you
  • You want maximum lock-up-and-leave simplicity
  • Investment yield per euro spent is your primary measure
  • Budget is below €1M
